How to produce high quality tungsten wire?
First, we need to make tungsten rods for making tungsten wire. Some tungsten powder is extruded by isostatic pressing, and the bar will be uniform by this method. The powder is squeezed, the volume is reduced, and it is easy to take out. After being taken out, it is placed in a sintering furnace for sintering. The time varies depending on the size of the rod, and the temperature is above 1000 degrees. Then the rods will be forged to improve performance.
After the completion of the tungsten rod, comes to next step:drawing the wire.In this process, improving the strength of the wire is critical work. The wire need to be annealed constantly,or it
is easy to be broken, especially for micro tungsten wire(fine tungsten wire)
